"U Want Me 2" is the lead original single by Canadian singer/songwriter Sarah McLachlan from her greatest hits album, Closer: The Best of Sarah McLachlan. Released on August 12, 2008, McLachlan admitted that the love song was inspired by the dissolution of her marriage which occurred in September 2008.
